TechNow09 is more than your average business event - on April 23rd, 2009 the local community will come together to support and celebrate new Michigan-based technology businesses in a fun, informative and engaging environment.

The time is Now for all constituencies to work together to shape Michigan's future.

TechNow is a showcase of future and current Michigan business leaders who are paving the way for a brighter future by innovating in their fields, creating jobs and leading the transition of Michigan into a knowledge economy.

• Five presentations from next-generation, Michigan-based technology companies. Each business will conduct a 5-10 minute overview focused on how they are utilizing technology and information to win in the 21st century.
• Interactive panel discussion. Four current Michigan business leaders take the stage and converse about the current economic landscape, the role of technology and shaping Michigan's future.
• Cocktails, networking and raffle. Converse with individuals from both the business and creative communities.
• Live concert. Michigan's own Manolete, a latin-inspired rock band, will serenade the crowd with their distinct and eclectic sound.
