We're proud to host some of the West Michigan Momentum-MI.org startups fresh from their recent Demo Day!

Ethernet cable labelled "Internet" at the podium is open (no captive portal) and fast (http://speakeasy.net/speedtest says 95 Mbps down, 15 Mbps up :-) ? and Steve and Brian at Wireless Ypsi are indeed bringing their Meraki gear. :-)

Wes is bringing another projector we can use for a Twitter wall...

There is a temporary (and working) projector setup in Chesebrough for the event, but now the audio system seems to be disconnected. We've gone without mics before, so I think we should be fine (and I have a ticket in with caen@umich.edu just in case). Some systems are go!

We need to figure out how to provide open wifi for the audience (UM's network is restricted to faculty, staff, & students) - anybody have an EVDO router they could bring (ex. CradlePoint)?

I did not know they had an entire auditorium devoted to cheese! I'm very excited...having trouble deciding what wine to bring.

  “ This was a pretty good meet-up. Some interesting groups presented. Public Collections was probably my pick for the night, they seem to fill a niche and have a good business model. I would gladly pay $30 to put a companies name in the lime light that didn't pay. It was nice to hear Sandra talk about different avenues for getting funding and being able to talk to her after words to find some paths to take for your own startup. Also a thank you to whomever setup the live streaming for those that couldn't physically be there. ”
